SPECIFIC PATHOGEN FREE STATUS
Global Gen strives to ensure our products meet the high standards expected from the global aquaculture industry. All stocks are constantly monitored for presence of specific pathogens. Stock samples are sent to international and local third party PCR laboratories to verify SPF status on a regular basis. Furthermore, Global Gen is regularly audited by various Department of Fisheries across Asia as well as other Competent Authorities (CA) to ensure adherence to global export standards.
Global Gen products are regularly PCR tested in the below laboratories:
1. The University of Arizona (Aquaculture Pathology Laboratory), USA
2. Badan Karantina Ikan, Pengendalian Mutu (BKIPM), Indonesia
3. Balai Perikanan Budidaya Laut, Lombok (BPB), Indonesia
